FAMILY DAY IN THE PARK (FDIP) 2011 has been scheduled for August 13, 2011, from 10AM until 2PM.

First FDIP meeting will be held Feb 7 at 6:30PM at THE VILLAGES pool house on Clear Springs Court. Urge maximum attendance. The FDIP does NOT plan itself.

Next LGCL meeting will be March 12 at 10 AM at the Level Green Fellowship Church. Coffee and donuts will be provided. You do NOT have to be a member to attend.

BURGLARIES & INCREASED THEFTS OF LARGE SCREEN TV’s

The Fourth Precinct continues to experience burglaries where large screen TV's are being taken.

Remember to watch out for your neighbors and report ALL suspicious activity. Call 9-1-1 for crimes in progress, or 385-5000 for non-emergency police reports.

Support Homeless Vets

I volunteer at the VA hospital in Hampton. I went there earlier this week to drop off some clothing for the "clothes closet" that they maintain for homeless vets. The volunteer working there said they were in dire need of men's clothing as they are serving appx 150 homeless male vets. They have plenty of clothing for homeless women vets.
